About Us

Data-Med CC is a medical bureau, founded in 2002.
We provide an end-to-end claim settlement service to medical service providers and their patients/medical funds.
Unlike our competitors, we aim to secure settlement of claims across the full spectrum in the quickest possible way, to the benefit of the service provider whilst upholding fair and honest business practices. The scope of our work entails;

  • Medical aid claims
  • Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act ( COIDA )
  • Rand Mutual Assurance ( RMA )
  • The Federated Employers Mutual Assurance ( FEMA )
  • South African Police Service (SAPS / IOD )

Our clientele includes a number of anaesthetists, orthopaedic surgeons, general practitioners, psychologists, and other medical service providers. Although we are based in Gauteng, we also provide services to clients in other provinces. Working as a unit we believe in delivering the best service to our clients. Being the link between the service provider and the patient we make it our responsibility to uphold the relationship whilst recovering any outstanding funds effectively.

  • We process on average around 2500 claims per month,
  • We maintain the master data of approximately 45 000 patients
  • We serve 20+ service providers,
  • We deal with 90+ different medical funds

We treat all service providers, patients and medical fund support staff alike with dignity, respect and patience.

Management Structure

The management team is small and with a flat structure so as to allow anyone with a problem direct access to the senior staff, so that a personal service can be rendered. The general office support staff is reporting to an office manager should the member not be available.

As a successful bureau to diverse service providers, we acknowledge the fact that each provider has their own individual requirements. We have been able to adapt quickly to each provider’s needs to ensure that these are met. To positively influence the financial performance of the provider is always a priority for us, hence, the service provider is always and frequently consulted by the member in person.

Mission Statement

While we take care of your patients, medical fund claims, and recovery of funds, we will in the process enable the service provider to have more time for important private matters and personal interests.
